Here's a piece I just worked on this afternoon after watching Jake Parker's instruction earlier this week...

I started by scanning in a old sketch from a few years ago...

Then followed Jake's steps and within a couple hours, voila!

Learning about textures

It's late, but I just wanted to give kudos to Hibbary at Deviant art for the great textures and tutorial for using textures. There are some great ideas here, it's worth checking out.
