My birthday is coming up and I am toying with the idea of getting a Windsor Newton Bijou Box...or some other box set. It's a bit of a tricky decision, there are so many styles to choose from. I guess I just need to head down to my local distributor and find the one that best suits my needs. I also found instructions on making one which might just do the trick for me.
And for a list of you need be prepared to head out sketchbook journaling, thanks Trumpetvine!
Well, as luck would have it, I found this exact W&N set at a local art store - Colors Art & Frame, this afternoon. It was more than 50% off so I snagged it of course. I couldn't be more excited about my find.
ReplyDeleteI"m so excited to hear about your latest passion! So looking forward to seeing more of your work.
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI don't have that particular set, but I have several friends who do and they love it. It's nice and small and portable. Their only complaint is that it could use some more trays/mixing areas, but you get used to using what you have available.
Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that it's a good one. There's one left if you're interested - best price I found, and I did a lot of research on line. Can't wait to try them out!
Two Mittens - fun to find you on blog world! ;)
