Sketcher's Box

My birthday is coming up and I am toying with the idea of getting a Windsor Newton Bijou Box...or some other box set. It's a bit of a tricky decision, there are so many styles to choose from. I guess I just need to head down to my local distributor and find the one that best suits my needs. I also found instructions on making one which might just do the trick for me.

And for a list of you need be prepared to head out sketchbook journaling, thanks Trumpetvine!

  1. Well, as luck would have it, I found this exact W&N set at a local art store - Colors Art & Frame, this afternoon. It was more than 50% off so I snagged it of course. I couldn't be more excited about my find.

  3. Hey Lisa,

I don't have that particular set, but I have several friends who do and they love it. It's nice and small and portable. Their only complaint is that it could use some more trays/mixing areas, but you get used to using what you have available.

Glad to hear that it's a good one. There's one left if you're interested - best price I found, and I did a lot of research on line. Can't wait to try them out!
