A new favorite

I am having a hard time pulling myself away from perusing artists' blogs in the evenings. Last night I came across Emily Grandin's work - it's so lovely and simple. Her line work is so detailed and full of humour. My boys will soon be having to share a room, so we're making plans to redecorate. Q has high hopes for an ocean theme - I'm getting the impression he is wanting some ferocious sharks on his wall, but I found this image on Emily's blog last night and fell in love with it. I showed Q and X the image this morning, and although it's not as scary as Q would like, he does think the image is 'very cool' along with some of Emily's line drawing of a lighthouse, and iceberg and a jellyfish. By the end of the renno plan we may have an Emily Grandin gallery exhibit!
